Harley Davidson has unveiled a new motorcycle from their Soft-tail range called the Breakout. The Breakout was launched at the Daytona Bike Week 2013.
The motorcycle is powered by 1690cc air-cooled engine which produces 130Nm of torque at 3000rpm. The engine features Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI) and Automatic Compression Release (ACR) and is mated to a six-speed cruise drive gearbox.
The motorcycle has been designed to look smooth, tight and intended to showcase the engine and the tyres. The motorcycle gets wide drag style handlebar which is finished in gloss black. The front and rear fenders are half-chopped to give it a more drag motorcycle like look. The rear fender is shaped and positioned to fit close to the 240mm tyre. The machine gets an 18.9-litre fuel tank which help the motorcycle run for over 300 kms.
The Breakout is available in Vivid Black, Big Blue Pearl and Ember Red Sunglo colours. ABS version is available as an option. This motorcycle will be available in India in coming few weeks as Harley Davidson sells its complete line-up in India. The Breakout is priced at $17,899 (Rs 9.69 lakh) in US. We can expect this motorcycle to be priced at Rs 20 lakh, thanks to the recent fifteen per cent duty hike on imported motorcycles.
