- Rs 81,000 discount on Street 750.
- Rs 1.01 lakhs off on the Street Rod.
- Discounts available on ex-showroom prices.
Harley-Davidson is offering its entry-level motorcycles, the Street 750 and Street Rod with discounts up to Rs 1 lakh on the ex-showroom price.
While the Street 750 gets a discount of Rs 81,000, the Street Rod gets Rs 1.01 lakhs off. After this discount the bikes are priced at Rs 4.5 lakhs and Rs 5.5 lakhs (ex-showroom) respectively. Along with this discount, a few dealers are also offering the motorcycles with accessories and riding jackets or schemes like free zero-depreciation insurance.
The manufacturer is marketing this as a year-end offer but it wouldn’t be far-fetched to believe that it is also to lure in Royal Enfield 650 customers. After all, they are evidently direct competitors. Now, the Street 750 is a laid-back cruiser while the Street Rod is a sportier, street bike based on the former’s platform. Both bikes are powered by a 749cc, V-twin engine, but they vary in power outputs. The Street 750’s unit puts out 47bhp and 59Nm whereas the Street Rod produces a higher 68bhp and 64Nm of torque.
