- New colours launched for X440
- Mid-spec variant gets two new colours
- Hoping to sell more units this festive season
Hero MotoCorp has introduced a range of new colours on the Harley-Davidson X440. These new colours have been launched in two variants.
The mid-spec X440 variant now gets two additional colours – Mustard and Goldfish Silver. These paint schemes also get a 3D logo as standard. The top-end S variant gets one new colour – Baja Orange. The introduction of these new colours has been done to create some excitement around the motorcycle, as the festive season is around the corner.
In terms of overall specs, the bike remains unchanged. It still gets its power from a 440cc, air/oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine that makes 27bhp of peak power and 38Nm of peak torque. This motor is mated to a six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. This Harley rides on an 18-inch wheel at the front and a 17-inch at the back, and the USD forks come as standard. There's a spoke wheel variant as well, which is their most affordable model. Dual-channel ABS is standard.
The company hasn't increased the price of the bike with these new colours. The top-end X440 is currently priced at Rs 3.25 lakh on-road Mumbai, whereas the Vivid costs Rs 3.03 lakh.
