Harley-Davidson India recently launched the X440, and it’s not only the smallest engine capacity bike from the American brand but also the most affordable. The new Harley-Davidson X440 retails at Rs. 2.69 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the top-spec, S variant. If you are looking for other alternatives in a similar price range, then here are your top five options.
The 250 ADV from KTM comes in at Rs. 2.47 lakh (ex-showroom, Chandigarh) and is the most affordable adventure bike from the Austrian bikemaker. It’s powered by a 248cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 29.63bhp and 24Nm and is linked to a six-speed gearbox. The 250 Adventure gets LED illumination and a fully digital instrument console with readouts like the speedometer, odometer, trip meter, fuel level reading, clock, gear position indicator, and more. It features dual-channel ABS as its safety net. The KTM 250 Adventure has proved to be likeable in terms of commuting, off-roading, as well as touring to some extent. So, if you are inclined towards ADVs then this bike could be a potential option.
Keeway K300N
The Keeway K300N is priced at Rs. 2.55 lakh (ex-showroom, Chandigarh) and is a thorough streetfighter offering. If you are looking for a neo-retro bike in this range, then the Honda CB300R could be your option. The BMW G 310 R has also made it to the list with its Rs. 2.85 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) pricing. It gets streetfighter styling and the butch bodywork makes the front end look quite aggressive. BMW has powered the G 310 R with a 313cc, single-cylinder mill and it’s mated to a six-speed gearbox. The setup makes 33.52bhp and 28Nm. The G 310 R rides on USD front forks and a monoshock and gets a single disc at both ends with ABS.
