Motociclismo, an Italian motoring website has got more information on the new sub 800ccs Harley Davidson motorcycles that we had covered earlier. Apparently there are more than one of these Made-in-India-For-The-World motorcycles. This image, as sent to Motociclismo, is supposedly from EICMA and it announces the arrival of a 500 and a 750cc version. These will be called as the "Street" Series.
2014 is going to be an important year for Harley Davidson and they mean business. Harley has looked ahead and is willing to embrace modern technologies like the electronic assists and liquid cooling for its top of the line touring range. The Street series is likely to be more of a vanila mass market product that should bring in numbers for harley. Considering its made in India, if priced anywhere southward of 4Lakhs the Street series, would literally rule the streets, competing with the likes the CBU imports from Kawasaki, DSK Hyosung, and the upcoming Triumph Line up.
