- Livewire to launch 3 new models
- Middleweight, entry-level models planned
- S4 model could replace current Livewire
Harley Davidson’s electric company Livewire is planning to expand its line-up in the next few years. The company has revealed its future plans in the company’s presentation to investors.
According to the presentation, the American brand has worked on a new platform that goes by the name ‘Arrow’. This architecture uses the battery pack and connects with the steering head in the front and motor and swingarm at the rear to make a chassis. This architecture is modular as the brand can use different battery and motor size to launch new models.
The first motorcycle to be made from this platform will be the S2 Del Mar. In fact, we believe there will be multiple design styles so that the brand can have more motorcycles in various segments. Post the launch of S2 models, Livewire will bring the S3 models which is likely to be the entry-level motorcycles. The last S4 models are likely to replace the current Livewire which is almost a few years old now.
We can expect some of these models to come to India. It might not sell in large numbers but will definitely help the brand have more footfalls.
