Harley-Davidson has unveiled the limited edition CVO Pro Street Breakout at the ongoing Aspen X Games in Colorado, US. While it is based on the Softail, the CVO Pro Street Breakout has completely shed the image of a laidback cruiser to adopt the undertones of an intimidating dragstrip racer.
CVO, or Custom Vehicle Operations, comprises of a team of skilled artisans, who pick up a model and custom build it in limited numbers, taking the exclusivity of the bike to a different level. The CVO Pro Street Breakout as such, is a very special bike indeed. Painted in imposing black or white gold paint schemes, the bike features a smoke satin chrome on the exhaust header, heat shields and on the oil lines to create a layered appearance. The trimmed front fender, blacked-out footpegs, black custom mirrors, a low-profile console and the drag-style handlebars complement its character.
However, the CVO Pro Street Breakout doesn't just look like a dragstrip cruiser, it has the potency to go one like too. Propelling the CVO Pro Street Breakout is the most powerful air-cooled engine in Harley-Davidson's portfolio – the Twin Cam 110B, complete with a Screamin' Eagle intake and blunt-cut mufflers. The CVO Pro Street Breakout also comes with a high performance hydraulic slipper clutch, new 43mm inverted forks and a robust three-bolt triple-clamp. The dual front disc brakes with floating discs provide the essential extra stopping power with ABS offered as a standard fitment.
Prices in the US start at USD 25,699 (Rs 17.4 lakh). Deliveries are expected to commence by April .
