- Only 1,750 units to be produced
- Gets major cosmetic changes
- No word about its India launch
Harley-Davidson has taken the wraps off the Electra Glide Highway King for international markets. The model comes in as the third addition to the American manufacturer’s Icons Motorcycle Collection and is available in limited numbers.
To keep its exclusivity Harley is offering just 1,750 units of the Highway King worldwide. What makes the motorcycle special is the styling that has been heavily inspired from the 1968 Electra Glide. So it comes adorned with retro styled fenders and graphics on the fuel tank. Even the single-seat gets a dual tone colour, white wall tyres and white panniers. The windscreen also gets a body coloured lower section. It is being offered in two colours- Hi Fi Orange and Hi Fi Magenta. Each bike also comes with a serial number on the fuel tank to highlight the exclusivity of the limited-edition model. All of it goes well with the chrome loaded on the handlebars, wheels and engine.
Speaking of which, the Electra Glide Highway King is powered by a Milwaukee-Eight 114, V-Twin engine. This 1868cc motor churns out 95bhp and 165Nm and is mated to a six-speed gearbox. Now, this model is interesting-looking, especially if you are into the charm of retro-styled cruisers. However, there is no word about Harley-Davidson bringing the Highway King to India as of now.
