Harley-Davidson India is gearing up for their biggest launch of the year. It will launch four updated models – the Iron 883, Forty-Eight, Street 750 and the Road King on September 21.
The American manufacturer has given these bikes cosmetic and performance changes under the Dark Custom Soul marketing initiative. The Street 750 – the most affordable motorcycle from Harley-Davidson gets a new front and rear braking system. The current Street 750 is known for its bad brakes, which takes away the value for money proposition from it. However, with the new brakes we hope the bike inspires more confidence during high speeds.
The updated Iron 883 gets a new suspension setup at the front and rear, new wheels, which are lighter than the previous ones. It also gets improved seat comfort, thanks to better cushioning. In case of the Forty-Eight, it gets new alloys wheels along with a new front tyre. The bike now gets 49mm forks at the front, along with improved adjustable rear suspension.
For the Heritage Softail Classic, the company has focused on improving the High Output Twin Cam 103 powertrain. It also gets new saddle bag support structure, which is a boon for long distance riders. Along with these updated models, the iconic American manufacturer will re-launch the Road King motorcycle under its Touring range.
