Harley-Davidson has partnered with Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum to commission artists with experience in tattoo design, automotive design, street art and mural paintings to paint and decorate several new 2017 Harley-Davidson bikes.
Twenty-two painted Harley-Davidsons, comprising of the Iron 883, Forty-Eight and the Harley Davidson Roadster will be showcased at bars and restaurants and dealerships across America as part of a promotional tour for the companies. At the end of the tour, 22 lucky people will be awarded these bikes, although Harley Davidson has not said anything about the sale of these limited edition decorated motorcycles.
Tattoo artists Jonathan Valena, Oliver Peck, and Magen Woznicki each created designs for multiple bikes. Miami-based street muralist Alexander Mijares and automotive designer Michael ‘BuckWild’ Ramirez along with artist L’Amour Supreme are also on-board with this project. Members of the Harley-Davidson Styling Team have also created designs for three of these motorcycles. According to reports, 9 of these 22 bikes have already been painted.
