Harley-Davidson has introduced a new rider training programme for motorcycle enthusiasts in India. Called Passport to Freedom, the first edition of this programme will be conducted at the Harley-Davidson showroom in Gurgaon, on April 10.
Harley-Davidson has taken this initiative to help riders improve their techniques and confidence. The programme aims to acquaint riders with simple techniques that would help them become a better rider. Passport to Freedom has been schemed up as an interactive session where veteran riders and instructors will teach enthusiasts riding techniques and settle their queries on different aspects of motorcycling.
Though Harley-Davidson motorcycles are one of the most widely acclaimed touring motorcycles, very few customers actually utilise the potential of their motorcycles due to lack of training and the fear of crashing. As such, such training programs are quite necessary to train riders to help them make the most of their motorcycles while keeping their own safety in mind. The Passport to Freedom programme will be conducted pan-India at different Harley-Davidson showroom, throughout this year.
Commenting on the programme, Pallavi Singh, director, marketing, Harley-Davidson India said,” We want to support and enable aspiring riders to begin the ride of their dreams by helping them get the skills they need to hit the road with confidence.”
