Harley-Davidson has launched their updated Iron 883 and motorcycles for the Indian market. The former is priced at Rs 7.37 lakh and the latter retails at Rs 9.12 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi).
The Iron 883 is now available in a new black denim colour and comes equipped with new adjustable rear shocks and front cartridge forks. This new suspension provides better stability and comfort. Harley-Davidson describes this motorcycle as a nimble bike that has always portrayed bare-knuckle minimalism and garage-built style. It features bullet design detailing, a low drag-style handlebar, straight cut mufflers, front fork gaiters, a solo tuck and roll seat and chopped rear fender.
The Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight gets a new velocity red sunglo colour as part of this year’s updates. Apart from this, the other cosmetic changes that the motorcycle gets are a new seat, blacked out slotted exhaust and restyled alloy wheels. The bike now comes equipped with wider 49mm forks, adjustable rear suspension and floating brake rotors. The fuel tank is adorned with 70s inspired graphics that further accentuates the bulldog stance of the Forty-Eight with fat front tyre and narrow profile.
Both the motorcycles are a part of Harley-Davidson's refreshed Dark Custom models and there are no changes to the powertrain. The update expects to usher in a fresh avatar for the bikes and the new styling and features have surely added to the appeal.
