- Smaller Pan America under development
- Could get the new 975 engine
- Global unveil likely to happen end of the year
Harley-Davidson is planning to expand its adventure line-up. The company may be working on a smaller Pan America and this one could be called the Pan America 975.
According to a report, certain codes related to this new ADV were spotted on Harley-Davidson’s official accessories page. These details were leaked under Pan America locking fuel cap section. The codes were RA975 and RA965S.
The RA code relates to HD’s Revolution Max-powered adventure bikes. The Pan America 1250 had the RA1250 name and the RA1250S for the special variant. So this could mean that the smaller Pan America is almost ready and could be launched in the next few months or early next year.
The Pan America 975 will help the American brand go against the KTM 890 Adventure, Triumph Tiger 900 Rally and the BMW F850GS. We can expect this Harley to make its way to India post the global launch.
