- Sports custom paint scheme over the standard model
- Gets a custom audio system too
- Limited to 1500 units
Harley-Davidson has launched the Low Rider El Diablo limited edition model overseas. It gets a handful of updates over the standard Low Rider and is also limited to just 1,500 models. Let’s see what it offers.
On the design front, the Low Rider El Diablo looks identical to the standard model. It features the same Bat fairing with a round LED headlight and transparent visor with air vents on the sides and the top. The design team at Harley-Davidson addresses the Low Rider El Diablo as a modern expression of the 1983 FXRT.
It gets a custom paint scheme of Candy Red done by Gunslinger Custom Paint house. The hand-applied golden pinstripe running throughout the bike highlights the eye-catching paint scheme. Overall, the El Diablo looks quite desirable.
Adding to the features list, Harley-Davidson has equipped the limited edition model with Rockford Fosgate’s custom 250 Watts speakers with Bluetooth connectivity. The rider can also connect their smartphone and access the volume as per his/her need.
Under its skin, the Low Rider El Diablo packs the same equipment as the standard model – 1,923cc Milwaukee Eight motor dishing out 105bhp and 198Nm. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox. It rides on 43mm USD front forks and a preload adjustable rear shock.
The asking price for the Harley-Davidson Low Rider El Diablo in the USA is set to USD 27,999 (approximately Rs 22.30 lakh sans taxes). As of now, Harley-Davidson India hasn’t made any announcements of the Low Rider El Diablo’s entry in the country.
