Harley has launched the Low Rider S in India. The newest entry in the Softail range is priced at Rs 14.69 lakh (ex-showroom). It gets a custom-inspired styling with blacked-out components and bronze-finished wheels. The motorcycle also gets a sportier riding stance and performance-focused hardware as compared to the standard Low Rider.
However, if you are in the market looking to buy a motorcycle around Rs 14.5 lakh to Rs 15 lakh, there are two options to consider.
The Fat Bob transformed when it was updated for 2018. Sporting a radical design and intimidating stance, the Harley-Davidson Fat Bob looks apocalypse-ready. It gets an all-LED rectangular headlamp, bronze coloured 2-into-1-into-2 pipes, a short tail and beefy tyres that completes its power cruiser appeal. Speaking of which, the Fat Bob uses Harley’s Milwaukee 107 engine. This 1,745cc V-Twin motor produces a staggering 145Nm of torque and is mated to a six-speed gearbox. You can get your hands on the Harley-Davidson Fat Bob for Rs 14.69 lakh.
If the motorcycles from the Land of the Rising Sun fascinate you more than the ‘Muricans, there is the Honda CB1000R. It borrows styling cues from the Neo Sports Cafe concept showcased at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show and gets a round LED headlamp, muscular fuel tank, and sleek tail section. Moreover, the slash-cut exhaust that shows off the rear wheel complements the CB1000R’s streetfighter design. The motorcycle uses a 998cc, inline-four cylinder engine that is capable of producing 141bhp of power and 104Nm of torque. Honda has priced the CB1000R at Rs 14.46 lakh.
