2020 Harley-Davidson Low Rider: What else can you buy?

Harley-Davidson has launched the 2020 Low Rider in India at Rs 13.75 lakhs (ex-showroom). Around that price, the Indian market has three other motorcycles you can consider. Here is what the list looks like.

Indian Scout

The Scout is one of Indian Motorcycle’s most iconic bikes. The first model was introduced almost 100 years ago in 1920 and has received a considerable number of changes and iterations ever since. The Indian Scout which is available currently was unveiled in 2014 with the manufacturer’s first-ever liquid-cooled engine. It comes powered by a 1130cc, V-twin motor that puts out 98.7bhp of power and 97.7Nm of torque. Indian Motorcycle has put a price tag of Rs 14.85 lakhs on the chrome laded cruiser.

Indian Scout Bobber 

On the other hand, Indian Motorcycle also has a blacked-out version of the Scout called the Scout Bobber. And like its name suggests the motorcycle gets cosmetic changes like chopped fenders, different handlebar and beefy tyres that give it the look of a custom bobber. Nevertheless, the Scout Bobber is more affordable than the Scout and costs Rs 13.28 lakhs. Moreover, it also uses the same 1130cc, V-twin as the Scout which produces 98.7bhp and 97.7Nm.

Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R   

The only fully-faired supersport in this price list comes from Kawasaki in the form of the Ninja ZX-10R. The motorcycle is powered by a 998cc, inline-four cylinder engine that puts out 207bhp and 114Nm. And to put a leash on all of that power, the ZX-10R employs traction control, cornering management system, engine brake control, three riding modes, and ABS. Interestingly, the Ninja ZX-10R is the most affordable litre-class superbike available in India with a price tag of Rs 13.99 lakhs.
