Harley-Davidson India has introduced the Pan America 1250 adventure tourer with ex-showroom prices starting from Rs 16,90,000. The motorcycle will be available in two variants – Standard and Special. Here we list the top five highlights of the new Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250.
Design
The new Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 features a bold design. The styling cues include a tall windscreen, a semi-fairing, a 21-litre fuel tank with plastic cladding on the top, split-style seats, and a side-slung exhaust. The motorcycle is available in two variants – Standard and Special. Both variants get alloy wheels as standard while tubeless-tyre compatible wire-spoke units are available as an optional extra.

Features
Standard features on both variants include full-LED lighting, a Bluetooth-enabled 6.8-inch colour-TFT touchscreen display, and a USB C-type outlet. The Pan America 1250 Special further benefits from an electronically adjustable semi-active suspension setup, tyre pressure monitoring system, adaptive headlight, heated grips, steering damper, and an industry-first Adaptive Ride Height (optional) system.
The rider aids on both variants include ABS, traction control system, cruise control, five riding modes (sport, rain, road, off-road, and off-road plus), electronically linked braking, cornering ABS, cornering traction control system, cornering enhanced drag-torque slip control system, and hill hold control.
Engine
Mechanical specifications are identical on both variants, and the Pan America 1250 range is powered by a 1,252cc, V-twin, Revolution Max 1250 engine that makes 150bhp of power at 9,000rpm and 127Nm of peak torque at 6,750rpm. The motor is linked to a six-speed gearbox and it benefits from a slip and an assist clutch mechanism.
Hardware
The hardware on the Pan America 1250 includes 47mm inverted front forks and a rear mono-shock. The suspension setup on the Standard model can be manually adjusted while the Special version, as mentioned before, benefits from an electronically adjustable semi-active system. The anchoring tasks are handled by dual 320mm discs with four-piston callipers at the front and a single 280mm rotor with a single-piston calliper at the rear.
