- Special edition Pan America unveiled
- Gets new green paint scheme
- 2022 variant will be launched in India soon
Harley-Davidson has just taken the wraps off a very special edition of the Pan America. It is called the Special GI (Enthusiasts Collection).
This new special edition has been created to celebrate the brand’s unique riders and their interests in the community. The GI collection also honours the riders who have served and are currently serving the US Armed forces. This Pan America special edition gets an exclusive green paint scheme. There’s also an enthusiast collection logo on the front of the fairing and a white star with an HD graphic on both sides of the fuel tank.
In terms of performance, this edition is identical to the standard variants. The Pan America 1250 range uses a 1,252cc, Revolution Max 1250 engine that produces a maximum of 150bhp at 9,000rpm and 127Nm of peak torque at 6,750rpm.
In India, Pan America is offered in two variants. Standard features on both models include full-LED lighting, Bluetooth-enabled 6.8-inch colour TFT touchscreen display, and a USB C-type outlet. The Pan America 1250 Special further benefits from an electronically adjustable semi-active suspension setup, tyre pressure monitoring system, centre stand, heated grips, steering damper, and an industry-first Adaptive Ride Height (optional) system.
Meanwhile, the 2022 Pan America is expected to be launched in India very soon. And this model will get a new blue paint scheme and updated electronics.
