The Pan America is Harley-Davidson’s take on an adventure-touring motorcycle that has been launched in India recently. The American bike maker has priced its first ADV at Rs 16.90 lakh for the standard model. Although the bike is an interesting proposition on paper, if you aren’t enticed enough to consider it, here are your similarly-priced alternatives.
2021 Suzuki Hayabusa: Rs 16.45 lakh
Hayabusa is a name that needs no introduction. It is one of the most popular bikes across the globe and it is even more desirable in its latest 2021 avatar. Suzuki has bestowed the new Hayabusa with redesigned body panels for better aerodynamics and more features to make it safer. The legendary 1,340cc, inline four cylinder engine has also been revised to pump our stronger performance in the low and mid-range.
Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS: Rs 16.95 lakh
If the Hayabusa feels too intimidating for its burly proportions, you can also go for Triumph’s big naked, the Speed Triple 1200 RS. Similar to its smaller sibling, the Speed Triple has also been updated recently. It gets a new styling that makes it look angrier, especially when looked at from the front. It also gets a bigger 1160cc engine that makes more power and torque at 178bhp and 125Nm. Triumph has also made changes to make it lighter and a better handler.
Ducati Panigale V2: Rs 17.49 lakh
If the aforementioned bikes are too much to handle for their displacement, the Ducati Panigale V2 is more accessible. While it gets the same stunning design as the Panigale V4, the V2 gets a smaller 955cc, V-twin engine that makes 152.8bhp and 104Nm. But it doesn’t compromise on safety with a host of electronic aids like traction control, cornering ABS, engine brake control, wheelie control and three riding modes (Race, Sports and Road).
