Harley-Davidson has expanded its product portfolio, with the introduction of the new Low Rider S. This new motorcycle will sit in Harley’s Dyna range and is all about performance.
The American manufacturer wanted to create a motorcycle that’s core focus is power and performance. In order to accomplish this, Harley-Davidson has equipped the Low Rider S with the Screamin’ Eagle Twin Cam 110 engine that churns out 156Nm of peak torque. A forward-facing Screamin’ Eagle Heavy Breather performance intake and the Fat Boy style 2-into-2 exhaust made this possible. The bike gets a different suspension and brake setup to make it more performance oriented. This engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox, which transfers power to the rear wheel via a belt drive.
The Low Rider S comes with cruise control and ABS as standard, to take care of your touring needs. But that high mounted handle bar might make you uncomfortable during long distance. Cosmetically, the Low Rider S looks stunning. The combination of gloss black and black power coat on the powertrain and exhaust is fantastic. The only contrast to the black theme is the pair of new Magnum Gold lightweight cast-aluminum wheels and a gold tank badge.
The new Low Rider S retails at Rs 14.56 lakh in the American market. But when it comes to India, expect its price to cross the Rs 20 lakh mark. But the good news is, the Low Rider S will make its way to the Indian market.
