Harley-Davidson has just showcased a very interesting concept under the name Street Stealth at the ongoing 2016 Bangkok Motor Show.
Based on the made in India Street 750, the Street Stealth Concept looks more like an adventurer tourer rather than a regular cruiser, which the American maker is known for. While the engine is from the Street 750, the company has played with the Street 750’s chassis to make this concept more practical for its nature. Other major change seen on the bike is a mono-shock instead of twin shock absorbers that we see on the Street 750.
The overall design and styling of the Street Stealth Concept looks quite different from other bikes in Harley’s line-up. While we understand that the concept bikes are known to just show a company’s vision, the design of this concept looks little uninspiring and lacks a character. The knobby tyres gives the bike a rugged look, but the long rider seat makes the motorcycle look confusing.
The American manufacturer hasn’t revealed the power specs yet, but we believe this 750cc engine will churn out the same amount of torque like its cruiser cousin. Interestingly, this concept sports a chain drive instead of belt – Harley’s USP. A couple of panniers are also mounted on this concept to take care of touring needs.
