Harley-Davidson India has commenced the deliveries of its newly launched Sportster series motorcycle, the Sportster S. Priced from Rs 15.51 lakh (ex-showroom, India) onwards, this new model from the American manufacturer was launched in India at the 2021 India Bike Week.
This new model gets a distinctively-designed headlamp, a short fender, high-set twin exhausts, alloy wheels, and a single seat. The feature list comprises five riding modes, lean-sensitive traction control, and cornering ABS. The motorcycle also gets full-LED lighting and a Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster. The new Sportster S is available in three colours – Vivid Black, Midnight Crimson, and Stone Washed White Pearl.
The mechanical specifications comprise a 1,250cc, V-twin, liquid-cooled engine that also powers the Pan America 1250 adventure tourer. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, the motor on the Sportster S is tuned to deliver 119.3bhp of maximum power and 127.4Nm of peak torque.
