Harley-Davidson India will begin the official bookings of the Street 750 tomorrow. Launched at a mouthwatering price of Rs 4.1 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi), this is the first cruiser from the American brand that will be completely manufactured in India.
Customers will be able to book the bike with a booking amount of Rs 30,000 across all its dealerships. The company hasn’t announced if there will be any waiting period, but we are expecting that the production might have already begun at their Haryana facility.
The Street 750 is powered by a 749cc liquid-cooled V-Twin engine. This engine is mated to a six speed gearbox that transfers power to the rear wheel via a belt drive. The wheels are 17-inch and 15-inch at the front and rear respectively and come with MRF zapper tyres. The export model is expected to get Michelin tyres. The Street 750 uses a single disc / single caliper step-up both at the front and rear for braking.
At such a brilliant price point, Harley-Davidson is tapping those customers who always wanted to own this brand but couldn’t due to its products price range. The customers will also get access to the iconic Harley Owners Group (HOG) and will be able to choose from three colour options - Vivid Black, Denim Black and Fire Red. The company has announced various finance schemes to make this bike accessible to many people. Customers can purchase the Harley-Davidson Street 750 for a minimum down payment of Rs 91,471 with an EMI of as little as Rs 8,309 over a period of five years.
