The Harley-Davidson Street 750 has been launched in Malaysia for 62,888 MYR (Rs 10.73 lakh). It is imported from India via the CBU route and is the new entry-level motorcycle for the Malaysian market from the iconic American biker maker.
Externally and in terms of features, the Malaysian-spec Street 750 is exactly the same as the model sold in India with the only major difference being the saree guard. We have spoken in detail with Chetaan Shedjale, lead designer for Harley-Davidson about the ideas behind the development of the Street 750 and Street 500. He revealed to us that these bikes were created as canvasses for individual owners to apply their own custom designs.
The Harley-Davidson Street 750 is powered by the Revolution X liquid-cooled engine that produces 47bhp and 60Nm of torque. The engine has been mated to a six-speed sequential gearbox and a belt drive.
The bikes are being imported into Malaysia by Naza prestige and are being offered with a two-year factory warranty as well as three-year/80,000km extended warranty being provided by Naza prestige themselves.
