- Harley-Davidson has issued a silent recall for the Street 750 here.
- Issue addresses faulty brake calipers that will be replaced free of cost.
- Recall affects bike manufactured from May 2015 to December 2018.
Harley-Davidson recently recalled the Street 750 in global markets. The recall addresses faulty brake calipers which are prone to get corroded resulting in lesser braking force and drag. Now, according to our sources, the American manufacturer has issued a silent recall for the bike in India.
While the number of bikes affected in India has not yet been revealed, the recall affects Street 750s manufactured from May 2015 to December 2018. Harley-Davidson will be contacting owners and rectifying the issue free of cost. We further recommend owners to visit the nearest dealership and check for the issue.
The Street 750 priced at Rs 5.56 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) is the most affordable Harley-Davidson in India. Harley also manufactures the Street 500 here although only for the export market as it wouldn’t be able to price the bike competitively in the Indian market.
