Harley-Davidson Australia has thrown open a competition to dealers to build custom motorcycles with a Marvel Comics superhero theme. The Harley-Davidson dealers all over Australia will compete in a bike build-off challenge.
The American motorcycle manufacturer recently released a short video teaser that doesn’t reveal much about the challenge. However, the video reveals an entire line up of Harley’s range, which means dealers will be able to modify any of bike of their choice. What comes as a certainty is that we will likely end up seeing the entire Haley-Davidson line up getting a dose of the Marvel Comics superhero theme since, the dealers will all be looking to outshine each other.
Harley-Davidson motorcycles have been seen making many appearances in Marvel movies, Harley’s Dark Custom models, the Street 750 and Iron 883, feature in the latest Marvel Comics film, Captain America: Civil War. Other models such as the Breakout, Street 750, Fat Boy and even the electric Livewire have also been placed in recent movies such as Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014), Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009), Terminator: Genisys (2015), Furious 6 (2013) and Marvel’s The Avengers (2012).
