Harley-Davidson has revealed that it will be introducing two new motorcycles in the Indian market on October 30. The iconic American manufacturer made the announcement of launching the CVO Limited and the Softail Breakout through its page on a popular social networking website.
While the teaser image does not divulge the names of the two motorcycles, you can clearly make out that the two motorcycles partly hidden in shadows are the CVO Limited and the Softail Breakout.
The CVO Limited is a laidback Project Rushmore touring motorcycle and hence, comes loaded with all the top of the line touring amenities Harley-Davidson has to offer. The 2014 model comes with a new Tour Pak design with redesigned fairing and redesigned seats. It also gets new saddlebags and a modern infotainment system. It is powered by the Twin Cam 110 engine which is rated at 156Nm of torque.
As opposed to the bulky CVO Limited, the Softail Breakout gets a muscular profile with loads of chrome. In the US market, the Softail Breakout gets a host of fancy paint jobs which screams out bling. It is powered by a Twin Cam 103 engine which is rated at 138Nm of torque and comes mated to a six speed Cruise Drive gearbox.
The addition of the two new models shows Harley-Davidson’s commitment to the Indian market. Being a part of completely different segments, the two new models are expected to widen the American manufacturer’s customer base and help it boost its market share in India.
