Harley-Davidson will launch three new cruisers for the Indian market on November 8. The three bikes in question are the Roadster, Road Glide Special and the CVO Limited.
The American manufacturer has been continuously adding and updating its line-up in India and this has helped them stay top in the premium cruiser segment. These three new bike launches are a part of the company’s long term strategy to have the maximum share in the cruiser segment.
The Roadster was unveiled a couple of months ago in US. This motorcycle sits on the top of the Sportster model and has been inspired from the drag-racing motorcycles. Powering this motorcycle is a 1202cc air-cooled V-Twin engine that produces 103Nm of peak torque. The second bike in question is the new Road Glide Special touring model which now gets Harley-Davidson’s new engine – Milwaukee-Eight 107. This mill generates 151Nm of peak torque at 3250rpm. Just like every other cruiser in the Touring range, the Road Glide Special is also equipped with a host of features. 6.5-inch infotainment system with integrated GPS, audio system, ABS, LED headlamps are some of the features that this cruiser comes with.
Harley-Davidson will also introduce the CVO Limited for the Indian market. However, this being a CVO model, expect the pricing to the north of Rs 50 lakh. This custom cruiser is all about exclusivity and the Indian market is the right place for it. Other than the Roadster, we’re expecting the American manufacturer to bring the Road Glide Special and the CVO Limited as completely-built-up (CBU) units.
Stay tuned!
