- Features an LED headlight
- Likely to be powered by a 440cc motor
- To be launched on 4 July
Harley-Davidson India has spilt the beans and released what appears to be the first set of clear images of its upcoming most affordable motorcycle in our country. Here’s what the X440 looks like.
The new Harley-Davidson offering will feature a round LED headlight with a chrome bezel around it. It’s topped by a single-pod instrument console and gets a flat and wide handlebar. Adding to the bike’s visual appeal are the blacked parts including the motor and exhaust system.
Given the details available so far, the X440 is likely to have a 440cc motor and a redline of around 8,000rpm. We expect it to be linked to a six-speed gearbox. Apart from that, the hardware comprises USD front forks and dual rear shocks. Meanwhile, the braking hardware comprises a single front and rear disc with ABS. You can also expect features like ABS and side-stand engine cut-off for safety. Moreover, the rider triangle also seems fairly upright but relaxed as the footpegs seem neutral set.
Its official launch has been scheduled for 4 July 2023. Once launched, the Harley-Davidson X440 will rival the Royal Enfield Classic 350 as well as the Meteor 350. Its asking price could be around Rs. 3 lakh (ex-showroom).
