Just yesterday, we told you about the soon-to-be-launched TVS Jupiter Grande with Bluetooth instrument cluster. This will make it the Jupiter the first 110cc scooter in India to get the connectivity feature. TVS’ other scooter, the NTorq is fully-loaded with technology and features, and some of the Bluetooth cluster features along with smartphone integration will make its way to the Jupiter Grande. Here, we tell you the five features that is integrated with the Bluetooth instrument cluster of the new Jupiter Grande.
1: Call Notification
Once connected to the Bluetooth cluster via TVS’ connection smartphone application, the rider will be able to see all the incoming as well as outgoing calls along with the names.
2: Text Notification
Just like the call notification, the text notification on the new Jupiter Grande will tell you that you have an incoming SMS. There’s an option to auto reply to such messages, but that has to be programmed on the TVS Connect application.
3: Over speeding alert
If the rider goes above a certain speed, the cluster will throw an over speeding alert notification. However, it’s still not sure if the customer needs to set the speed limit or the application will use the default data from the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.
4: Helmet reminder
This feature is present in the NTorq as well. There’s a small helmet icon that comes up each time you turn on the scooter. It’s a way to tell the rider to wear a helmet ride.
5: Top Speed
This feature has been inspired by the Apache brand. This feature is a simple way to tell the rider the top speed. The system will always record the latest top speed data.
