- Witnessed 20 per cent retail growth compared to the previous year’s festive season

Hero MotoCorp has revealed its October two-wheeler sales numbers. And the brand has registered a 20 per cent retail growth in FY ‘23 over the same period of FY ‘22. However, the sales figures for October 2022 paint a different picture than October 2021.
Domestic motorcycle and scooter sales registered 4,42,825 units last month compared to 5,27,779 units in October 2021. Meanwhile, the export numbers slumped from 20,191 to 11,757 in October 2022. This brings down the overall sales by 17 per cent.
Moreover, Hero MotoCorp is also set to establish its assembly and distribution network in the Philippines. It has tied up with Terrafirma Motors Corporation which will be the exclusive name for Hero’s said operations there.
Hero MotoCorp also recently entered the electric two-wheeler market with the launch of its sub-brand, Vida. Currently, Vida offers two models: V1 Plus and V1 Pro. The Plus trim costs Rs 1.45 lakh and the Pro model is priced at Rs 1.59 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). We tested the scooter during its launch and you can head here to read about it.
