- The VAHAN portal data claims that Ola registered 9,118 units in March
- Ola Electric’s aim was to hit the 15,000 units mark last month
- No official comment has been made from the company so far on its March sales data from VAHAN
Ola Electric’s numbers for March 2022 are out and it managed to register 9,118 units as per VAHAN. This puts it in the second spot compared to Hero Electric’s 13,024 units sold in previous months.
However, the aforementioned registration numbers do not include data from a few states. Not to mention, Ola also claimed previously that it does a lot of temporary registrations and the numbers according to the company’s data could be way higher.
Back in February, the FADA/VAHAN data revealed that Ola registered only 3,904 units whereas the EV manufacturer claimed to have sold 7,000. Even though the numbers are significantly increasing, customers are still experiencing long waiting periods.
Moreover, Ola Electric CEO, Bhavish Aggarwal has also revealed that MoveOS 2.0 is in its finishing stages and will be accessible to users by the end of this month. This should aid the owners to access the S1 Pro’s features like navigation, companion app, cruise control, Bluetooth, and other performance improvements.
Last but not least, Ola Electric is also exploring extreme fast charging technology as it recently invested in an Israeli company, StoreDot, for the same.
