Most of the Hero MotoCorp dealers across the country are happy with the way the Maestro Edge and the Duet are performing.
These new scooters have helped them improve their overall monthly sales. We spoke to a couple of dealers who said that the consumers’ interests have slowly shifted to the Maestro Edge and the Duet due to their design and value for money prospect. In fact, they went on to say that the sales of the Pleasure and Maestro are decreasing marginally, but they’re able to make it up with the Maestro Edge and the Duet sales. Currently, this segment has the TVS Jupiter, Yamaha Ray Z, Suzuki Lets and the Mahindra Gusto 100.
Both these scooters have been completely developed by Hero MotoCorp. Overall, in the last couple of years the scooter segment has grown exponentially, and that’s why most of the two-wheeler manufacturers are making their presence felt with the launch of new scooters. While the Honda Activa leads this segment, Hero is in no mood to let their erstwhile partner get away with most of the sales.
We’ve ridden both the scooters and here’s our first ride review of the Hero Maestro Edge and the Hero Duet.
