Hero MotoCorp has launched the Destini 125 in India. The scooter is offered in three variants - VX, ZX, and ZX+. The asking prices are set at Rs. 80,450, Rs. 89,300, and Rs. 90,300 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Hero Destini 125 gets an appealing design with a curvy bodywork and a dash of modern elements like the LED headlight and the turn indicators that are integrated neatly in the apron. Its tail light too looks quite sleek and unique. Hero is offering the Destini 125 VX in three colours - Eternal White, Regal Black and Groovy Red. Meanwhile, the ZX gets two options - Cosmic Blue and Mystique Magenta and the ZX+ can be bought in two colours - Eternal White and Regal Black.
Powering the Destini 125 is a 125cc single-cylinder motor that makes 9bhp and 10.4Nm. It is linked to a CVT setup. On the feature front, the Destini 125 gets LED illumination, a digital analogue screen for the VX trim, and a fully digital screen for the ZX and ZX+. The remaining models also boast smartphone connectivity for turn-by-turn navigation, auto-cancel indicators, boot lamp, and more. The ZX+ further benefits from Copper Chrome accents and a cushioned backrest too.
On the hardware front, the VX uses cast wheels with drum brakes whereas the remaining two get disc brakes. The scooter uses telescopic front forks and a monoshock setup.
The Hero Destini 125 rivals the TVS Jupiter 125 and the Honda Activa 125.
