Likely to sit below the VX trim
Could get steel wheels instead of alloys
Will use the same engine, design, and overall styling as the other variants
While Hero has held back from announcing the price of the Destini 125, we have now come across a new document indicating adding another variant to the mix. The said registration approval document comprises the Destini 125 LX and the Destini 125 ZX+ names. While the ZX is already listed on the brand’s website, the LX is a new entrant and here is what we know about it.
The Hero Destini 125 LX is likely to be the most affordable version of the range. This means its hardware might vary slightly, and you can expect it to get steel wheels instead of alloys and drum brakes at both ends. While the currently listed base model, the Destini 125 VX, gets a digital analogue setup, we expect the Destini 125 LX to use a fully analogue setup. It won’t be a surprise if Hero offers the LX model without chrome accents to cut the cost further.
Apart from that, Hero is likely to power the Destini 125 LX with the same 125cc single-cylinder motor which makes 9bhp and 10.4Nm. It is mated to a CVT setup and the hardware could comprise telescopic front forks, a monoshock, and drum brakes with steel wheels.
We think Hero could announce the Destini 125’s price range at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Once launched, it will rival the TVS Jupiter 125 and the Honda Activa 125 in its category
