Hero has finally launched the Destini 125 in India with prices starting at Rs 54,650. The higher spec VX variant costs Rs 57,500. We bring to you the detailed photo gallery of the Hero Destini 125.
The Destini 125 borrows most of its styling from the smaller Duet 110.
It sports muscular bodywork with sharp creases flowing from the front fender to the taillight.
The Destini 125 gets a chrome garnish between its turn indicators on the front apron and on the side panels.
Additionally the higher-spec variant also gets body coloured mirrors to complete the look.
It offers features like an external fuel filler cap which can be accessed from the ignition key slot.
Hero has also equipped the Destini 125 with the i3S technology that helps in conserving fuel. This system can also be turned off if needed.
The Destini 125 sports an analogue speedometer with a digital unit that displays trip meter, odometer, fuel level and service due indicator.
Furthermore, the instrument cluster also displays a side stand indicator.
The higher-spec variant gets a boot light and USB charging port as standard equipment.
Powering the scooter is a 124cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 8.7bhp and 10.2Nm of torque. This unit is mated to a CVT gearbox.
Hero is only offering the scooter with drum brakes on both ends with an integrated braking system as standard.
The scooter rides on 10-inch, 6-spoke alloy wheels shod with tubeless tyres for the front and rear.
Suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock.
The Destini is offered in three colours; white black and red with a shade of maroon limited to the VX version.
The scooter competes against the Suzuki Access 125 and Honda Activa 125 in the country.
