Hero Destini 125 Platinum launched in India at Rs 72,050

Hero MotoCorp has announced the launch of the Destini 125 Platinum in the Indian market. This new variant of the 125cc scooter has been priced at Rs 72,050. In comparison, the standard Destini 125 is available from Rs 66,960 onwards.

The new Hero Destini 125 Platinum gets a new matt black colour with brown inner panels and a white rim tape. Other styling cues include chrome handlebar ends, new chrome mirrors, a chrome muffler protector, and chrome fender stripe. It also features a 3D logo Platinum badging and a colored seat with Platinum hot stamping.

The feature list and mechanical specifications, on the other hand, remain identical to the standard Destini 125. Thus, the Platinum edition continues to use the 125cc, BS6-compliant, fuel injected motor with ‘XSens Technology’ that produces 9bhp at 7,000rpm and 10.4Nm of peak torque at 5,500rpm.

The feature list includes i3S (Idle-stop-start system) technology that is aimed to enhance the fuel-efficiency. It also packs a semi-digital instrument cluster, side stand indicator, and service due reminder.
