Hero Electric has further expanded its reach in the southern part of India with the inauguration of three new dealerships in Bengaluru. The electric two-wheeler manufacturer aims to take the total number of touchpoints across India to 1,000 by the end of this year. The new outlets are 3S (sales, service and spare) equipped.

Bengaluru is home to Ather Energy, which is a leading name in the electric two-wheeler space. Bajaj Auto and TVS Motor Company, too, have announced their plans to enter the city with their respective electric scooters, the Chetak and the iQube in Bengaluru.
Speaking about the inauguration of the three new outlets, Sohinder Gill, CEO, Hero Electric said that Bengaluru is a very important market for the company, from both a geographical and business point of view. He further added that the new dealerships will enable the brand to strengthen awareness around electric mobility and its benefits in the region.
Hero Electric has aggressive investment plans in the next three years. The plans aim to ramp up the production capacity to five lakh units annually. The company will focus on low-speed scooters.
