- Hero Electric partners with MoEVing
- Plans to convert 1 lakh ICE vehicles to EVs
- Conversion project to be carried out in the next five years
Hero Electric has announced its partnership with MoEVing to facilitate EV adoption in the country. Through their partnership they aim to convert 1 lakh ICE vehicles used in last-mile delivery to EVs in the next five years.
Under the partnership, MoEVing will contribute by providing access to data and analytic modules. Meanwhile, Hero Electric will contribute by taking care of vehicle performance, battery performance and other maintenance issues on a real-time basis to help accelerate technology, product, and service improvements.
MoEVing is a Delhi-based startup that provides technology-enabled electric mobility solutions for urban last mile delivery. The company is looking forward to deploying 1,000 two-wheelers in the last-mile delivery space over the next few months. Under their partnership, both companies aim to deploy one million EV's by 2030.
