- Hero Glamour Blaze edition launched
- Sports a new Matte Vernier Grey colour
- Gets a USB charger as standard
Hero MotoCorp has launched a new Blaze edition of its 125cc premium commuter, the Glamour, in India. The motorcycle has been priced at Rs 72,200 (ex-showroom, Delhi) which keeps it in between the entry-level drum brake variant and the top-spec front disc model.
The new Glamour Blaze trim adorns Matte Vernier Grey colour which is complemented by yellow graphics on the fuel tank and side panels. Besides the distinctive paint scheme, the Blaze edition also comes equipped with a handlebar-mounted USB charger which is not present in other variants. Meanwhile, it remains identical to the drum and disc brake iterations in all other areas.
Powering the Hero Glamour is a 124.7cc, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine which churns out 10.72bhp and 10.6Nm and comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. While this engine is already designed to deliver impressive fuel-efficiency, what aids in saving even more fuel is the i3S system which automatically shuts the engine off when left idle for a few seconds. Furthermore, the Glamour also comes equipped with Hero’s Auto Sail technology which makes riding in traffic a smooth affair.
Apart from the newly-introduced Blaze colour, other available paint schemes for the Glamour are Sports Red, Tornado Grey, Techno Blue and Radiant Red. In the 125cc commuter segment, the motorcycle competes against the Honda Shine, Honda SP 125 and the Bajaj Pulsar 125.
