Hero MotoCorp has introduced the new Glamour Blaze ahead of the upcoming festive season to further boost the sales during the high-demand period. The variant comes with a new paint scheme and a USB charger. Here we list the top five highlights of the new Hero Glamour Blaze.
Design
The Blaze edition retains the design of the standard Glamour. Thus, the motorcycle features a halogen headlight with DRLs, semi-digital instrument cluster, and a muscular fuel tank. The Blaze trim gets Matte Vernier Grey colour along with yellow graphics on the fuel tank and side panels.
Features
The feature list is identical to the standard Glamour. The Blaze edition, however, comes with a handlebar-mounted USB charger as standard. The USB charger comes with a rubber cover to protect it against water and dust when not in use. The motorcycle, similar to the standard model, also gets i3S (idle start-stop system) and Auto Sail Technology.
Engine
Mechanical specifications are identical to the standard Glamour. The 124.7cc, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine produces 10.72bhp of power and 10.6Nm of torque. The motor is linked to a five-speed gearbox.
Hardware
The suspension setup on the Glamour Blaze includes telescopic forks at the front and twin-sided springs at the back. The braking setup comprises of a 240mm disc brake at the front and a drum unit at the back.
Price and Rivals
The newly-introduced Blaze colour has been priced at Rs 72,200. The Glamour competes against the likes of the Honda SP 125 and the Bajaj Pulsar 125.
