Hero MotoCorp has updated its only 125cc motorcycle, the Glamour to comply with the BS6 emission norms. The motorcycle has been clocking promising sales numbers for the company. Here we bring you a set of the most impressive images of the 125cc commuter motorcycle from our first ride review.
The front fascia on the BS6-compliant Hero Glamour gets an updated headlight with DRLs on either side. The DRLs feature a smoked look that gives an overall sporty appeal to the 125cc commuter.
The headlight throws a decent spread in the low-beam, but it lacks the reach. The high-beam, on the other hand, felt too high.
Other changes to the front fascia include an updated headlight cowl that gets a new plastic panel with a 3D “Hero” logo. The vehicle also features an updated design for the flyscreen.
The taillight gets a new design too, and it now features an “H” shape. The new taillight looks sharper and sportier than the unit on the BS4 model.
The instrument cluster is similar to the BS4 motorcycle. The semi-digital layout features analogue speedometer while the digital display shows the fuel level, an odometer, a trip meter, a fuel economy and a service due indicator.
The 124.7cc single-cylinder, air-cooled motor on the Glamour BS6 is linked to a five-speed transmission and it makes 10.7bhp at 7,500rpm and 10.6Nm at 6,000rpm. The peppy motor features a meaty mid-range.
The braking setup includes 130mm drum brakes on both wheels as standard while a 240mm disc brake is available as an option.
The motorcycle is available in two variants - Drum (Rs 69,750) and Disc (Rs 73,250)
