- Xtec trim prices hiked by Rs 1,300
Hero MotoCorp has increased the prices of its 125cc premium commuter, the Glamour, in India. While the standard version of the bike has gotten costlier by Rs 1,200, the higher-spec Xtec trim has received an increment of Rs 1,300. Notably, this is the second and more significant price hike for the Glamour since April 2022. The latest variant-wise ex-showroom (Delhi) prices of the Glamour are mentioned below:
Glamour (Drum): Rs 79,670
Glamour (Disc): Rs 83,670
Glamour Xtec (Drum): Rs 84,220
Glamour Xtec (Disc): Rs 88,820
The Glamour has remained the same on the mechanical front. The motorcycle is powered by a 124.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine that churns out 10.7bhp at 7,500rpm and 10.6Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm. Transmission duties are handled by a five-speed gearbox. The cycle parts are basic with 18-inch alloy wheels with telescopic forks at the front and dual springs at the back.
Hero has decently equipped the Glamour with features as it incorporates an idle start-stop system, combined braking system, and autosail tech. Meanwhile, the Xtec version gets a few add-ons including Bluetooth connectivity and a turn-by-turn navigation system. As for the competition, the Glamour locks horns with the TVS Raider, Honda SP 125, and the Bajaj Pulsar 125.
