- New Hero Glamour Xtec available in two variants
- Prices start from Rs 78,900
- Gets Bluetooth connectivity and LED headlight
Hero MotoCorp has announced the launch of the new Glamour Xtec in the Indian market. The 125cc motorcycle will be sold in two variants – Drum (Rs 78,900) and Disc (Rs 83,500).
The latest iteration of the Glamour packs several new features over the standard motorcycle. The new Glamour Xtec benefits from Bluetooth connectivity function, turn-by-turn navigation system, integrated USB charger, and an LED headlamp. The instrument cluster also packs more information than the standard motorcycle. These include a gear position indicator, eco mode, tachometer, and real time mileage indicator (RTMi). The rider aids on the Glamour Xtec include side-stand engine cut off and a bank angle sensor. The bank angle sensor cuts off the engine in case of a fall.
The styling cues on the Xtec variant include 3D branding, rim tapes, and blue accents for new matte colour. The hardware comprises telescopic front forks and a preload-adjustable rear mono-shock to perform the suspension tasks. The base version uses drum brakes on both wheels while the premium model benefits from a 240mm rotor at the front.
Mechanical specifications retain the BS6-compliant, 125cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 10.7bhp of power at 7,500rpm and 10.6Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm. The feature list includes i3S (idle start-stop system) and Auto Sail Technology.
