Hero Motocorp has launched the Glamour X-Tech in the Indian market. The latest iteration of the sporty commuter motorcycle gets revised styling and features. The Glamour X-Tech is available in two variants (Drum and Disc) and its prices start at Rs 78,900 ex-showroom (Delhi). In the country, it competes against the likes of the Bajaj Pulsar 125 and the Honda SP 125. To know more about the Glamour X-Tech, let's take a look at the image gallery of the same.
The Glamour X-Tech is offered in two colour options, Glossy Black with white highlights and Matte Axis Grey with blue highlights. The black colour lends it a bold look, while the grey paint scheme gives it a commuter-ish stance. The motorcycle gets tank fairings, graphics across its sides, chunky 10-litre fuel tank, a single-piece seat and red-coloured rear shock absorbers.
In terms of features, the Glamour X-Tech comes equipped with an LED headlamp, a fully digital dash, a USB charging port, side stand engine cut off, Bluetooth connectivity and auto sail technology for a smooth city ride.
The instrument cluster displays call and SMS alerts, turn-by-turn navigation, gear position indicator, real-time mileage indicator and Eco mode.
The sporty commuter motorcycle is powered by the same 124.7cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that delivers 10.7bhp at 7,500rpm and 10.6Nm at 6,000rpm. All this power and torque is taken to its wheels via a five-speed transmission. This engine is further assisted by i3s technology (idle start-stop system).
The suspension duty on the Glamour X-Tech is handled by telescopic forks at the front and five-step adjustable hydraulic dual shock absorbers at the rear. Meanwhile, for braking it employs a 240mm disc at the front and a 130mm drum at the rear for the Disc variant, while it uses 130mm drum on both ends for the Drum variant.
The motorcycle rides on 18-inch wheels. These wheels are wrapped in tyres having 80mm width at the front and 100mm width at the rear. The seat height here is kept at 798mm while the bike weighs 123kg.
