The facelift of Hero’s popular commuter motorcycle, the HF Deluxe, has been spotted testing in Delhi. The HF Deluxe facelift is expected to get the new revised version of the 97.2cc engine, along with a host of cosmetic upgrades.
The heavy camouflage on the test mule indicates that the new HF Deluxe might get a host of new graphics and paint schemes. Besides these, the test mule also sported a revised tail section, with new tail lamps and clear lens indicators. We can also expect the headlamp fairing to be altered to give the bike a new look. Rest of the components like alloy wheels and the silencer have been left untouched.
Mechanically, we can expect the HF Deluxe to get the new more powerful version of the 97.2cc single-cylinder engine. Mated to a four-speed transmission, this engine delivers 8.2bhp as opposed to the 7.7bhp that the previous mill produced.
The HF Deluxe facelift will go on sale in the next couple of months. Despite the cosmetic and technical changes, we do not expect any significant change in the prices of the HF Deluxe. The HF Deluxe rivals other 100cc commuter motorcycles like the Honda Dream Neo, Yamaha Crux, Bajaj Discover 100 and the TVS MAX4R.
