- Hero Xtreme 160R prices increased
- Rs 2,370 more expensive now
- Remains unaltered in all other aspects
Hero MotoCorp has recently bumped up the prices of its products, including the Xtreme 160R in India. Notably, the Xtreme is amongst the ones which have attracted the highest price hike. All the variants of the bike are now Rs 2,370 more expensive as compared to their previous prices. This hasn’t brought along any other changes in the motorcycle. For the prospective buyers, mentioned below are the variant-wise ex-showroom prices of the Xtreme 160R.
Xtreme 160R Front Disc: Rs 1,11,610
Xtreme 160R Double Disc: Rs 1,14,660
Xtreme 160R 100 Million Edition: Rs 1,16,460
Although the hike is substantial, the Xtreme 160R still comes across as one of the most sought-after offerings in its line-up. We had the motorcycle with us for a couple of weeks and it managed to impress us during every ride. That’s mainly because of its light weight, extremely agile handling, and a potent 160cc engine. It produces 15bhp of power and 14Nm of peak torque and comes mated to a five-speed gearbox.
It is also decently equipped with modern features. All the information is displayed on a negative LCD console in a clean layout. Even the lighting setup is LED, including the turn indicators. Other useful features in the Xtreme 160R include a hazard light switch, and a side stand engine cut off switch. It also incorporates a glide feature that keeps the bike going at the speed of 8kmph without any inputs from the rider.
