- Hero MotoCorp has not sold a single unit of Karizma since February 2019
- The bike never received the safety net of ABS
- It could get replaced by a higher displacement model in the future
The Hero MotoCorp Karizma is no longer listed on the company’s website. Our dealer sources had also stopped sharing the prices of the model since a few months, which confirms that the model has been discontinued.
The company has not sold a single unit of the Karizma since February last year. The last sales came in January 2019 when Hero MotoCorp sold four units of the Karizma. The motorcycle never received the safety net of ABS. While the Karizma has gone missing, Hero MotoCorp continues to offer the fully-faired Xtreme 200S in the Indian market. The Xtreme 200S, which retails for Rs 1,00,900 (ex-showroom Delhi), packs more features than the Karizma range. The fully-faired, 200 cc motorcycle comes equipped with an LED headlight and a Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster.
Hero MotoCorp’s future portfolio could include a higher displacement motorcycle that could be the company’s new flagship model. The company had showcased the XF3R Concept at the Auto Expo 2016, although a production-spec model never revealed.
