- Gets copper finish on the engine crankcase
- Will feature aggressive styling and LED lighting
- To be launched in India on 29 August
Hero MotoCorp has released yet another teaser of the upcoming Karizma XMR 210. This time around, the company has partially revealed the design of the bike’s engine. The video reveals that the engine features a copper finish on the crankcase.
Apart from the crankcase design, previous teasers have also revealed the bike’s overall design silhouette and LED headlamp in detail. The various teasers and spy pictures have revealed that the new Karizma XMR will feature sporty styling.
Powering the Hero Karizma XMR 210 will be an all-new 210cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that is expected to pump out close to 25bhp and around 20Nm of peak torque. This motor will be linked to a six-speed gearbox.
The new Karizma XMR 210 will use telescopic forks at the front and a preload adjustable monoshock at the back. Furthermore, the motorcycle will ride on 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends, while the braking setup will include disc brakes at the front and back, and possibly dual-channel ABS as standard.
As for its pricing, we expect the Hero Karizma XMR 210 to cost around Rs. 2 lakh (ex-showroom). When launched, it will compete against the likes of the Bajaj Pulsar RS 200, Yamaha R15, and the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250.
