- New images reveal fresh design details
- Will be powered by a 210cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine
- Likely to be launched in a few months
The upcoming Hero Karizma XMR 210 has been spotted testing once again. These spy shots reveal the side profile of the motorcycle and it resembles the leaked image of the Karizma XMR 210 shown at the dealership event.
The Karizma is set to be more aggressive and sporty in its upcoming avatar. Its sharp LED headlight and large side panels contribute to its youthful appearance. With the fuel tank appearing notably large, the rider seat seems a little scooped. Hero is likely to offer the Karizma XMR 210 as a sports tourer than an outright supersport bike as the clip-on handlebar seems fairly high.
Hero will power the Karizma XMR 210 with an all-new, 210cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder motor with an expected output of 25bhp and 30Nm. The engine will be linked to a six-speed gearbox. Meanwhile, the feature list is yet to be known but the Karizma XMR 210 is bound to get LED illumination as it has almost become a standard practice among manufacturers.
The spy images also reveal that the Karizma XMR 210 will ride on conventional telescopic front forks and a monoshock. Its braking hardware will consist of a front and rear disc brake with ABS.
We expect the Hero Karizma XMR 210 to debut around August this year. Its expected price could be around Rs. 2 lakh and its rivals will be the Yamaha YZF R15 and the KTM RC 200.
